First Impression
On sight, the LG Optimus G looks quite similar to the iPhone 5 but only offers more with its glossy back shell, good size to hold and near perfect looks. The 4.7-inch big screen comes with a sheet of Gorilla Glass 2, one of the more powerful glasses that makes it resistant to scratches. Unlike it’s major competitors Samsung and Apple, LG does not have a main home button on the Optimus G. It comes with 3 buttons below the screen that are visible when used.
The screen has a resolution of 1280X768 inches and uses a technology called “Zerogap” that makes the screen appear closer to the glass and provides some of the sharpest viewings you have ever seen. An attractive element of the LG Optimus G is the glass on the back that has a design visible only in some angles giving its a crystal finish and a classy look.

Add on to that, the high-resolution display makes video viewing highly enjoyable.

Verdict
The LG Optimus G is an amazing phone that combines classy design, excellent specs and a perfectly-sized screen that manages to provide the best of the smartphone world. The battery life is not compromised despite the heavy flow of multimedia work it is subject to. The photos clicked on the Optimus is worth printing. While, the Optimus comes with a set of pre-installed apps much like the Samsung, Android is again the savior at the end of the day. On the whole, the Optimus G is a terrific phone if you are looking to pick up a smartphone that can perform on par with the top ones in the market.
