Apollo Hospitals charts out 1,500 cr expansion plan

Dr Prathap Reddy promoted Apollo Hospitals Group [stockquote]APOLLOHOSP[/stockquote] will invest Rs 1,500 crore on capacity expansion in next 3 years. It will increase the number of its beds to more than 11,500 by March 2014.

According to him ‘Inline with our commitment in Indian healthcare space, we have added 800 beds in 2011 which took our total bed capacity to 9000 beds. Target for 2012 is to have 10000 beds across its 56 hospitals’.

Shares of Apollo Hospitals closed at 601.40 down marginally on NSE.
