Dipti Deshpande is Senior Economist at CRISIL. Prior to joining CRISIL in 2010, she worked with the Institutional Equities Research business at Edelweiss Securities, Mumbai. She has also in the past worked with Care Ratings in their sub-sovereign ratings and economic research team.
She holds a Masters degree in Financial Economics from State University of New York, USA and a Masters degree in Economics, from University of Mumbai. She also closely works with CRISIL’s Customised Research vertical that provides tailored research inputs to specific business requirement. She is engaged in conducting training and economic outlook-based presentations for CRISIL’s clients, employees and other stakeholders. She has been a part of Standard & Poor’s Asia Pacific economic research team and has published several articles for S&P as well as in opinion / editorial articles in business magazines and newspapers.
