Mahindra Satyam acquire vCustomer for $27M

In an move to boost its BPO operations in Retail and consumer technology, Mahindra Satyam [stockquote]SATYAMCOMP[/stockquote]has taken over the complete international operations of BPO firm vCustomer for a sum of $27 million. According to Mr. C. P. Gurnani “The combination of vCustomer’s expertise in retail and consumer technology verticals with Mahindra Satyam’s strong domain expertise and customer base, will further strengthen our ability to address evolving market needs”.

This is the first 100 per cent acquisition by Mahindra Satyam since it became part of the Mahindra group.In February Mahindra Satyam has acquired a minority stake for Rs 35 crore in Dion Global Solutions, the Delhi-based firm that provides solutions for capital markets globally.
