TUI Travel India, a part of TUI Travel PLC – one of the world’s leading leisure travel groups, announced the appointment of Mr. Shashank Shekhar Mishra as Assistant Vice President- Sports.
With its new sports arm, TUI India plans to venture into sports tourism by association with world class sporting events. As AVP – Sports, Shashank will assume the leadership position and be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for the sports division of TUI India.
As an industry veteran, Shashank brings on board a wealth of knowledge with his 13 years of experience. Prior to joining TUI, Shashank was heading SOTC Sports which is the sports vertical of Kuoni India. In his other previous roles he has held many distinguished positions at travel companies like Kuoni, Thomas Cook, Cox & Kings etc.
