In a hugh relief to 3 private sector miners, Delhi High Court today said that any government order for de-allocating coal blocks of Bhushan Steel Ltd, SKS Ispat and Power Ltd, and JSW Steel Ltd will not be given effect for one week.

The inter-ministerial panel on coal blocks is reviewing progress of some 30 coal blocks allotted to private sector companies.

The three companies had moved the Delhi High court seeking directions to the government that any “adverse” order for coal blocks of the three companies should “not be given effect for a short period of time.

Today’s order has certainly came as hugh relief for all the 3 companies as Inter ministerial group has suggested to de-allocate the mines alloted to them.
