Time passes and the pendulum swings palpably, unnoticed creating vibration and forms in the space that are invisible yet existing. The movement of the pendulum so dispensable but still metaphors to the air we breathe as with each movement, a moment passes by.

The sketches in the space being created are so invisible yet so significant as they are the part of space that we all share and are surrounded by in a way that every vibration is intrinsically connected to us, as our inhabited part and very much effecting us vaporingly.

The pendulum moves consistently creating an impression similar to our constantly moving thoughts and actions occurring daily, every moment forming and affecting our very personality. A plethora of thoughts moves through our mind, some creating light or some deep carvings and other converting into actions. So insignificantly they occur that they are not noticed, but are still significant as every single thought directly or indirectly affects us in some or the other way creating or destroying us.

In present times every second person is mentally ill in some or the other way. He/she is distressed, depressed or frustrated. Pessimism is spreading its feet.

Increasing suicides are catching the attention of the world. With increasing instances of mental illness and increasing awareness towards it, various ways are being evolved to overcome it, including increased focus on socialization, giving counseling, reducing workload and maintaining work- life balance etc.

All these practices hold due importance at their place and along with these practices what more is needed is self- introspection. Self- introspection or constantly being aware of the movement of thoughts or looking inward at self is very much important and needed so that unwanted impressions are not able to affect us.

Unlike the pendulum the formation and movement of impressions in mind can be controlled. Every single thing we see or listen to or every single act we do influences us consciously or unconsciously leaving a pinch of impression in our mind that may grow with time and can convert into action. So being aware of the thought process also includes not letting a particular thought enter or form in our mind. So we need to be conscious of the surroundings and things we are in contact with. We cannot control the circumstances, but being conscious can somehow mitigate the negative effect of some impressions.

The human mind is an organic pendulum that swings, creating ideas, thoughts and images considered so normal not to be looked upon. But the fact remains true that the pendulum will oscillate until the clock stops working. Paying heed to these oscillations is our discretion but indispensable.
