Odisha halts operations at six COALINDIA mines

Authorities in Odisha halted operations at six mines of Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner, after its environmental clearances expired. According to Odisha’s director of mines Deepak Kumar Mohanty “Coal India do not have the forest clearances. The mines will remain shut until they get the approval”
